A leading global FMCG setup is looking for engineers to join there global shared services center in Mumbai location

Position Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Mumbai

Job Overview

Work with Solutions Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Data Architects, Cyber Security Engineers and Analytics Engineers to architect, build and deploy sustainable, secure, reliable & resilient public cloud infrastructure & foundation to support Cloud Data & Analytics projects including associated standards, procedures & processes.

Job Responsibilities (Done)

Core Responsibilities:

·         Region, Availability Zone & VPC setup to support Technology Recovery & High Availability requirements

·         Secure End-to-End Cloud Networking including WAN to Cloud Connectivity

·         Cloud IAM Federation to Active Directory

·         Development of provisioning processes for Data and Compute resources that follow Core Public Cloud Principles, including Kubernetes Platform, IaaS & PaaS

·         Development of auditable Infrastructure, Software & Data Deployment processes (DevSecOps, CD/CI)

·         Development of Cyber Security processes including asset management, logging, audit & governance processes

·         Evaluate new cloud capabilities (applications/hardware/software)

·         Provides technical direction to teams on architecting, designing, building and deploying cloud solution for enterprise applications, with expertise in Cloud Platform Architecture and Engineering.

·         Lead application migration projects including optimizing technical reliability and improving application performance,

·         Consults on implementing cost optimized cloud solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Hands-on experience deploying enterprise solutions to the public cloud. 

·         Experience with concepts, processes & tools required for cloud adoption including cloud security, governance and integration.

·         Experience developing & rolling out hybrid-cloud strategies and roadmaps.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Software Development experience.

·         Infrastructure Engineering experience.

·         Experience with agile techniques and methods.

·         Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD concepts and tools.

·         Familiarity with modern Software Engineering principles.

·         Experience in Networking (all foundational elements such as ACLs, Security Groups, Route Tables, Internet & Virtual Private Gateways, etc.), Secret Manager, Parameter Store etc.

·         Experience in storage products like Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk, Nearline, Coldline and Cloud Filestore

·         Experience in Database products like Datastore, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner & Cloud Bigtable

·         Experience with implementing containers using cloud native container orchestrators

·         Strong cloud programming skill with experience in API and Cloud Functions development

·         Proficiency in cloud automation using Ansible, or Terraform.

·         Hands-on experience with enterprise config & DevOps tools

·         Strong knowledge of cloud Security practices and Cloud IAM Policy preparation for GCP

·         Knowledge and experience in API development, AI/ML, Data Lake, Data Analytics, Cloud Monitoring tool

·         Ability to participate in fast-paced DevOps and System Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes
