Senior Advisory Engineer - IOT-AWS-JAVA

Impact

We are looking for a Sr. Advisory Engineer to build scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Sr. Advisory Engineer, you should be an experienced hands-on contributor and well versed with design principle and modern architecture patterns. This role requires you to lead software development effort on IoT applications and Real-time analytics solution with Micro-services. You should also be a team player with a knack for Innovation and building client solutions with Agile methodologies.

The Job

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective REST APIs
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Must to have

Working experience on Cloud Platforms preferably AWS.
Proven expertise on AWS technologies such as Amazon Kinesis, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, AWS IoT, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, S3 etc.
Hands on experience working on Java/J2ee technical stack. Good to have Go Language
Open-Source Tech Stack like Spring Boot, Hibernate, Liquibase.
Caching Framework experience like Elasticsearch, Redis cache.
Some exposure to GitLab, Jenkins, Jira tools for Agile development & CI/CD
Familiarity with NoSQL databases preferably MongoDB
Familiarity with RDBMS databases like MYSQL, Snowflake.
Working knowledge of Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus will be a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail and Organizational skills
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
