Technical Architect

Hiring for an American technology company most known for its postage meters and other mailing equipment and services, and with expansions into e-commerce, software, and other technologies.

Core Role Responsibilities:

As an experienced Technical Architect specialized in data and Analytics domain using Cloud and Big data ecosystem to perform real-time and batch processing of data for Reporting, Analytics and Data science purposes. The responsibilities include building cloud based scalable and low latency system which consumes IoT and real-time data from several Applications and deliver client centric Analytics Value, build system to deploy and utilize data science models to deliver in-product Analytics.

This person will work with a highly integrated, cross-discipline agile team and will be responsible for building and supporting modern Big Data Engineering solutions leveraging enterprise data lake across Commerce Services & SendTech business units. Participate in design review sessions and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience of AWS Cloud Technologies (Certification preferred).
• Hands on Experience on data streaming and big data technologies such as Amazon Kinesis, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon IoT, EMR, AWS Data Pipeline.
• Big Data Ecosystem with core competency in SQL optimization, efficient Joins – Hadoop, Hive AWS Aurora.
• Expertise with Database technologies including AWS Aurora, Snowflake etc.
• Expertise in building Real-time analytics-based applications using serverless Architecture (like AWS Lambda).
• Hands on experience working on Java Enterprise technical stack.
• Automation of ETL Jobs and orchestration using scripts, pipelines, workflows.
• Hands on experience working on Production Solutions with understanding on Scalability, Reliability, Uptime, Cost Optimization of a solution.
• Sound understanding of Data Science Model deployment (Sagemaker) and building Predictive Analytics based Applications.
• Good understanding of Data governess & Security
• Some exposure to GitLab, Jenkins, Jira tools for Agile development & CI/CD
• Work with distributed teams to design and develop frameworks, solution accelerators, proofs of concept, and external customer facing products
• Evaluate and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable
• Collaborate with and mentor members of the team and other coworkers
• Be agile and embrace change


Qualifications
• UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech from REC or any other reputed institute
• 6 to 8 years' experience in an AWS/Big Data/Realtime data processing Tech Stack development environment with experience working with hands on experience designing and implementing solutions.
