Job Description

Job Description-
Have 14+ years work experience of Transmission Line design & Engineering; Experience on leading 132 kV & above transmission line detailed design & Structural Analysis; Knowledge on the foundation / civil requirements and Estimation (costing) of BoM and determination of the BoQ.
Master of the theoretical knowledge of electrical & Structural design of transmission lines as per applicable grid codes in India and International testing standards; master the design specifications of transmission lines and related design standards, master the design methods, test methods, operation and maintenance specifications of towers, etc.; be proficient in the planning and design of transmission line tower heads and transmission lines; be proficient in applying professional design Software's (SLCAD, PLS-CADD, PLS Tower & ANSYS). Knowledge of PLS Tower is mandatory
 Familiar with the key control factors in all aspects of transmission line design – sag tension & Tower Loading, Geo-Technical factors affecting Tower design, etc
 Familiar with Systems Load flow & Network requirements in the Grid – viz (n-1), PLF, Reactive Power, etc will be additional advantage.

Responsibilities Description
System construction and business management
Formulate and continuously improve the design, research and development review and other related process systems, supervise and guide the implementation, regularly check, analyze and summarize the implementation, and make optimization adjustments;
 Work on design validation with reputed labs and work closely with BD Teams for design and solutions acceptance with utilites / CEA., etc
 Formulate the department's annual, monthly and weekly work plans and organize their implementation;
 According to the R&D design quality and schedule requirements issued by the design manager or project manager, rationally allocate manpower and actively organize production
 Complete research projects, technology reserves, patent and proprietary technology, copyright declaration and other built-in projects on time according to the requirements and the technical work plan.
Professional responsibilities
Organize relevant personnel to study the engineering R&D design plan, determine the general technical principles and calculation methods of the profession, guide the comparison of the plans, and make recommendations. Solve technical problems and professional cooperation problems. Sign relevant drawings and documents as required.
 Organize the professional engineering compilation and document drawing review work, earnestly fulfill the post review responsibility of this post,. Strengthen quality supervision and ensure quality and complete tasks on schedule;
 Make convincing contact with the superior competent department / labs and foreign units, and be responsible for contact and cooperation with various professional work groups;
 Participate in the design and R&D of EPC engineering projects according to work needs.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing technological and engineering priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

Technical Support
Market-oriented, actively participate in market expansion and sales support including customer interactions to resolve important solutions;
Technical data management
Responsible for the classification, sorting and filing of the professional documents and materials to ensure the standardized management of technical documents and materials;
 Responsible for confidentiality of documents /safeguard the company's interests;
Team management
Coordinate various resources inside and outside the department, manage the daily affairs and team work of the department;
 According to work needs, rationally allocate human resources, develop and cultivate employee capabilities, conduct performance evaluation and training, etc., improve team work efficiency and improve employee satisfaction.
 Lead group of engineers and designers for high quality deliverables as per the project schedule
 Build interfaces with other enabling domains, supply chain and design consultants in carrying out the project work for providing, receiving and reviewing deliverables across various stages
 Develop Team for understanding on customer requirements and resolution.
 Guide, mentor, and supervise the cross functional team for designing and engineering.
