Documentation Specialist

Job Responsibilities-

We are looking for a Documentation Specialist who will be able to provide high quality documentation for our international projects in LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions. As Documentation Specialist, you will be involved in many different parts of the operational daily life in the service business and will have a huge influence on your scope of work and position. For this responsible position, we are looking for a colleague with highly communicative personality who proactively addresses topics with a high degree of energy and power. The preferred candidate has a thorough experience from a similar position within the wind industry. Preferred base location is Bangalore.

Major Duties:
- Develop and provide high quality and easy to understand working documentation for all service-related working tasks.
- Develop highly efficient working documentation procedures and processes together with product supporting functions in China.
- Interact closely with service staff in the regions to understand requirements and priority of delivery.
- Understand and provide working documentation according to local legislation requirements.
- Ensure high level of quality in documentation with focus on completeness & correctness including risk assessment, required country specific compliances/regulations/EHS etc.
Provide easy access to correct working documentation for service teams.
- Develop lesson learned sessions to ensure feedback from technicians to improve working documentation.
- Develop and build multilingual versions for different regions.
- Interact closely with EHS department to ensure high safety working documentation.
- Support in building strong safety culture.
- Support and building high performing service teams.

Skills /Qualifications:
- You have an electrical or mechanical full-time bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least 3 years working experience as service technician or supervisor within the wind industry. 10+ years in technical content creation and ownership
- Strong turbine technology understanding and experience
- Have in-depth understanding of best practice of wind farm O&M documentation.
- Significant ability to understand technical service procedures and challenges in executing service task combined with superior capabilities to document working documentation in text and pictures to ensure safe, efficient, and easy understandable working documentation.
- Significant experience providing working documentation from a similar position
- Very structured and experience developing working documentation structures and related processes.
- Good communication skills and ability to speak and write English fluently and a high level of professionalism along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
- Very good computer capabilities and used to working with different documentation software applications and competent handling of MS-Office applications.
- The ability to work in multicultural teams and adapt easily to different cultures is a must.
- High energy and drive to achieve agreed targets and results.
- Good people management and stakeholder skills.
- Able to act proactively, work independently and creating good teamwork commitments
