Job Description

Head of Business Development – Mobile Financial Solutions
We are looking for a Head of Business Development who will be part of the visioning process and help us achieve
the lofty goals set for the unit. As one of the leaders, you will be responsible for driving the unit’s Order Book,
Revenue and Profitability. Given the nature of business, you will play a key role in shaping the unit’s broader
strategic direction, development and future growth from a business standpoint & will be the face of unit to all the
clientele especially CXOs. As the head of the BD function, you will serve as a coach, listener and leader, driving the
Business direction in the unit, develop Industrial relationships and tools that enable higher efficiencies and faster
service development. Significant emphasis will be placed on anticipating change and identifying opportunities for
innovation in order to ensure the unit’s leadership position across its business portfolio. As a driving force, you will
help establish and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients & lead the unit’s growth journey
in terms of Order Book, Revenue and Profitability.
Specifically, you will:
 Serve as a member of the leadership team and provide expert counsel and guidance on Business Growth
matters throughout the unit
 Cross-collaborate closely with the Global Sales Team, Product Unit’s Product Management, Project
Engineering Team and other stakeholders like Finance, Legal, SCM etc. agenda of the unit’s Revenue &
 Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation; maintain strong knowledge of current and
emerging Industry Trends in Payments Space
 Partner with business leadership to help define and implement an integrated product value proposition
 Incorporate and develop new strategies to drive innovation across business across the globe


Working Knowledge Required
As the Head of Business Development Engineering, you would have a strong business acumen and would have
proven experience of demonstrating success in driving and achieving number targets both in terms of Revenue &
Profitability. Background related to banking & payments space with an exposure to Mobile & Digital Channels.
Exposure of managing International customer, especially at CXO level engagement is must for this role.
Desired Skills and Experience
You will visualize and communicate the transformational potential of emerging technologies, demonstrating the
ability to disrupt the industry and help the organization enhance its competitive advantage. 15+ years of
experience with exposure of International market is desirable.
While it is a cliché, we expect you to be a visionary and at the same time help build products that are industrialist.
You will have a reputation for driving change and encouraging unconventional thinking within a dynamic
In addition to demonstrating strong business strategy creation & execution, you will possess the right coaching &
mentoring ability to be credible with the Business Development team members.
It goes without saying that for you to be successful in the role you will possess the right communication and
interaction skills.
