Job Description
The person will be responsible for the day to day execution of Mechanical Maintenance activity in Fabrication with focus area of Laser, Plasma cutting machine maintenance
Ensuring good housekeeping & Right time first in maintenance activities.
Attending Breakdown & Preventive maintenance of Laser cutting machine, plasma cutting machine, press bend & EOT cranes.
Preventive maintenance, Time based maintenance of Laser, Plasma cutting, CNC Press machines & monitoring compliance of the same.
Ensuring updating of technician’s log book & History cards for machines & equipment.
Conducting morning meeting with technicians & work allocation
Coordinating with vendors for completion of the outsourced jobs
Identify & help in eliminating the unsafe condition.
Identifying & maintaining the spare part inventory record for better spare part management and procurement of spare parts for machines & equipment’s.
Reduction in repair and maintenance cost through cost reduction initiatives
To develop and engage technicians for better output as well as quality in their work.
Time bound completion of projects by training and guiding technicians
To lead and motivate a team of subordinates
Requirements
B.E. (Mechanical) / DME
4-6 Years of experience
Knowledge of Mechanical engineer aspects.
Knowledge of Laser, Plasma cutting machine maintenance
Basic knowledge of TPM, 5S & Maintenance systems (Must)
