Job Description

a) Lead the charge for building a sustainable and growing API business through strategic portfolio management
b) Collaborating with research and manufacturing partners to expand capability footprint
c) Working with the leadership team in organizational strategic planning to aid in execution excellence, near term growth initiatives, and long term business building
d) Working with the BD lead towards business development efforts for organization's B2B India API business (INR ~ 700 Cr) and addressing global growth opportunities by promoting Company's range of products
e) Working with a team of young and dynamic professionals who would work with leading generic companies in India


• At least 8-plus years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and BD • High energy individual with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside of the company • Demonstrated experience in contributing to the negotiation and closing of partnership agreements • Strong leadership qualities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship management skills, strategic thinking, open minded, and innovative thinking • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with incomplete information • The role would involve travel once the candidate is established in the role and has demonstrated ability to manage projects • Good negotiation & presentation techniques • Well-versed sales techniques, consultative selling, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
