Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Designs, enhances and develops single and multi-system applications as part of a structured SDLC process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with Business Intelligence team to understand technical designs in order to satisfy report and data warehouse design requirements
Design, develop, and test reports using BI and reporting tools focusing on QlikSense
Use Informatica SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehouse toolkits to develop ETL
Interact with BI, ERP, Web development, and Engineering teams to understand the source data
Work with BI team members to enhance performance and ensure data of ETL and reports
Architect and support data warehouse structures for international internal customers and 24/7 availability
Provides solutions for complex software problems for existing applications
Maintains, improves, and extends existing software with limited assistance from other associates
Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment to determine general approach and specific solutions to technical problems
Reviews complex tasks for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy
Works with BI team members to develop and implement unit and system testing processes for single or multi system projects
Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Responsible for planning small/medium sized projects or tasks
Makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectives
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
Serve as a mentor to less experienced IT Developers (Developer 1)
Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures
Learns how to use and apply engineering tools as needed for this role
Thoroughly documents work in an organized manner
Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other associates to achieve goals

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accept and complete projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned
