Job Description
1) Overseeing all technology platforms and evaluating them according to business used cases from implementation perspective.
2) Devising and establishing IT policies, guidelines and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Senior management.
3) Assess, conceptualise, initiate IT Projects with internal teams and SI / OEM partners
4) Supports individual project teams with inputs on technology / process / people
5) Support / run POC / pilots on new /emerging technologies
6) Manage partner ecosystem in the new/emerging technology space
7) Ensure timely delivery of Corporate / PAN Org IT Projects and highlight risk around cost/quality/people/skills
8) Manage internal stakeholders
9) Owns and manages assigned budgets
10) Connect with Industry peers and bring in outside-in IT technology perspective
11) Conducts periodic review within teams and senior management on project status and progress
12) Develops, updates and owns IT project dashboard
Metrics:
• Compliance & governance around IT Projects – budget, timeline, value derivation.
• Right skills and technology deployment
• New Partner relationship management
• Timely inputs and reporting to CIO/CDO
• Single point of contact for Pan India IT Projects and Transformation for the organisation.
Requirements
• Devising and establishing IT policies, guidelines and systems to support the implementation charter of new IT Initiatives, Projects & Strategies set by Senior management for the organisation
• Assess, conceptualise, initiate IT Projects with internal teams and SI / OEM partners and be responsible for the right mix of skills for Project execution / support including business representation (R&R and RACI, escalation)
• Partner with business stakeholders and assess / record / publish business benefits against each IT Project objective / charter
• Work Closely with Group IT for synergy / context setting / collaboration for any new IT initiative
• Co-ordinate and be SPOC responsible for escalation and early warning for IT Budget consumption across locations
• Manage the partner eco-system / technology collaboration in the new/emerging technologies
