Job Description
Manager: External Reporting
Job Location: Gurgaon, India
PURPOSE:
This individual will work closely with and interact with multiple stakeholders in driving company-wide
External Reporting performance for company. This role is expected to maintain contact
with the key regional counterparts as well as Corporate functions on delivering monthly and quarterly
reporting deliverables as well as driving opportunities to enhance external reporting cycle.
This individual will work directly with international teams across company and all Corporate functions,
including Internal Reporting, Policies and Procedures, Corporate and Regional Financial Planning &
Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, Regional Finance, Operational Finance, and other internal stakeholders
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
● Support month end closing activities and reconciliations under US GAAP
● Manage the monthly restructuring and lease accounting process and forecasting analysis while
supporting the related SOX control environment
● Create and monitor restructuring budgets, adhere to current year budget targets and keep senior
leadership updated on all regional developments on restructuring spend
● Support the preparation and review of the quarterly SEC filings of Corporation (10-Q/10-K),
as a key member in driving continuous improvement in the external reporting process
● Actively work to understand gaps, identify opportunities and incorporate improvements in external
reporting
● Proactively monitor evolutions in the external reporting landscape to stay ahead of the curve within
regulatory guidance
● Assist with special projects for significant accounting transactions within external reporting space
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS & - Chartered Accountant /
CPA (US)
EXPERIENCE - 6 - 8 years of post qualification
experience from Shared Services
of Big Four Firms
