Job Description

Designation : Data Scientist

Main Responsibilities -
• Create and develop concepts & models based on patterns for futuristic events.
• Come up with futuristic business strategy – predictive future opportunity.
• Autonomously and flexibly carry out advanced analytics in multiple domains and environments.
• Run advanced modeling on data in order to extract knowledge and/or predict future events.
• Understand the complete analytics chain from storing, structuring, modeling, to visualizing and translating data into actionable insights.
• Develop and run advanced modelling on data in order to extract knowledge and/or predict future events
• Identification of additional data collection capabilities to fill gaps in existing models and/or improve models.
• Assess and implement appropriate analysis and visualization techniques.
• Experience in translating statistical systems and evaluating databases.
• Outstanding knowledge of prognosis analyses, explorative data analytics, data mining, data
records etc.
• Design, prototype and implement statistical and predictive models.

Requirements

Experience : 4 to 9 years
Location : Bangalore
• Experience in progressive data science, statistical analysis, and data modelling
• Data scientist experience in automotive industry related to Purchasing and supply chain
domain is added advantage.
• Machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Kera sklearn, SciPy, Matlab, TensorFlows, etc.
• Common data science toolkits, such as Python, R MatLab, Azure ML.
• Data visualization tools, PowerBI, clickview, clicksense.
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, HIVE.
• Applied statistics skills such as distribution, regression, and classification etc.
• Experience of working in Agile methodology environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills
