Job Description

• Responsible for overall management of Used Equipment Service Portfolio- Fleet Capacity Agreements, Rentals, Site efficiency Improvement projects, Assist Services, Component and Equipment Refurbishment and Remanufacturing & Asset Disposal and other future services as may be defined from time to time
• Financial and Legal management of the above Services Portfolio.
• Establish and implement the processes and SOP’s for all activities related to planning , execution and delivery of services.
• Development of the organization structure and staff as per approved plan and build the team for Service Portfolio
• Define partnership models for Used Equipment Services and other services ( using dealer channel, other service partners, etc) for delivery of these Services to end customers
• Ensure safety and statutory compliance for Products and People in Services Team
• Work in close coordination with Region India Central functions, Market area teams and other functional teams.
• Develop marketing concepts for Used Equipment Services & related Service products
• Establish annual business plan, execute the same to deliver on agreed objectives
• Participate in Company's Service Forums as required and align to global strategies
• Legal Compliance in all processes and business activities managed by the role
• Reporting of the Business development and Results on a regular basis
• Equipment Data Analysis/Site inputs to enhance the customer experience on services.
• Implement Industry Best Practices and learnings from other Regional teams(Global) to improve efficiency of service business

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering/ Sciences and/or MBA ( preferred) with minimum 10 years of experience in Services/ Automotive/ CE/ Construction/ Infrastructure industry
• A strong understanding of the industry and how a new business development works
• First hand experience in handling business transition in any industry where Product sales are moving towards Services sales
• Experience of conducting customer engagement , reviews and or evaluations of business performance
• Proven ability in project management – keeping several projects moving at once.
• Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
• Ability to solve problems and deal with complexity
• Understanding of issues around “Barriers to Access” and Diversity in Services Development
• Demonstrate ability to self-learn complex methodologies quickly, independantly and effectively
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel
• Business skills, analytical abilities & learning agility is a must
