Job Description
Impact:
The candidate will work in the Android environment to apply Google security patches to our custom Android implementation. The process involves applying security patches for Android 12, backporting Android 10 security patches for Android 9, submitting for Google GMS Certification, and generating OS delta updates to OTA to customer devices.
Requirements
Must Have:
Technical Requirements:
• Android OS development experience (6 years of solid AOSP experience)
• Java, C, C++ Development Experience
• Experience working with Android Linux Kernel
• Android Framework, SDK experience
• Knowledge of GMS Certification – GTS, VTS, CTS Scans
• Scripting (shell and python)
• Experience with Git, Jira
• Expertise with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, TLS, DNS)
Additional Information
Good to have:
• USB communications knowledge
• AWS experience
